GRAMMAR
I Các giới từ (prepositions):
a) Đi với danh từ chỉ nơi chốn: to; on; at; in; in to; between; opposite; next to; from … to.
b) Đi với danh từ chỉ thời gian: at; in; on; from … to; between; until; before; after.
c) Đi với danh từ chỉ phương tiện giao thông: by; on
Ex:by car; by train; on foot.
II.. Các dạng câu:
1. Câu cảm thán (an exclamatory sentence):
Ex: * Những lời phàn nàn (complaints):
– What an expensive dress!
– What a wet day!
* Những lời khen ngợi (compliment):
– What a great party!
– What a bright room!
2. Câu hỏi:
* Wh – questions:
Ex: – Where are you going? – I am going tothe market.
– Why don’t you go to school? – Because we have a vacation.
– Where does she work? – She works ata supermarket.
– What do you usually do after school ? – I help my mom.
– What do you usually do at recess ? – I play marbles.
* Yes – No questions:
Ex: – Are you a student? – Yes, I am.
– Does she have English on Monday? – No, she doesn’t.
* Or questions:
Ex: – Do you like soccerorvolleyball? – I like soccer.
– Is he a mechanicor a driver? – He is a mechanic.
* Questions with How / How old / How many / How much / How far / How often … ?
3. Câu đề nghị (suggestions):
Ex: – Let’s go swimming.
Let’s + V (infinitive) …
– Why don’t you play soccer?
Why don’t you + V (infinitive) …?
– Would you like to see a movie?
Would you like + to + V (infinitive) …?
– Should we play volleyball?
Should we + V (infinitive) …?
– What about watching TV?
What about + V-ing …?
4. Câu đáp lại lời đề nghị:
* Sự tán thành (agreement):
– Good idea.
– Great!
* Không tán thành (disagreement):
– I’m sorry, I can’t.
5. Lời mời (invitation):
Ex: – Would you like to come to my house for lunch?
→ – Would you like to + V (infinitive)…?
6. Lời chấp nhận lịch sự (polite acceptance):
– OK.
– I’d love to.
– Thanks for inviting me.
7. Lời từ chối lịch sự (polite refusal):
– I’m sorry, I can’t. Thanks any way.
– I would love to but …
8. Lời hướng dẫn (directions):
Ex: – Excuse me. Could you show me the way to the supermarket, please?
(hỏi thăm đường đi)
– OK. Go straight ahead. Take the first street on the right. The supermarket is in
front of you (chỉ đường)
– Could you tell me how to get the souvenir shop?
9. Hỏi đáp về thông tin cá nhân.

12. Hoỉ về khoảng cách :
How far is it from ………………to ……………? => It about + k/c…..
13 Hỏi giờ : C1 : What time is It ?
C2 : What’s the time ?
C3 : Do you have the time ?
ð Giờ đúng : It’s + giờ + phút
ð Giờ hơn : It’s + phút + past/to + giờ
It’s + giờ + phút
14. Cách nói ngày tháng : C1 : Tháng + ngày
C2 : the +ngày + of + tháng
15. Have fun + V_ing : Làm việc j một cách vui vẻ
16. Hỏi giá tiền : C1: How much + tobe + S ? => S + tobe + giá tiền
C2 : How much + do /does + S + cost ? => S + cost(s) + giá tiền
17. Tính từ kép :
Số đếm- N(đếm được số ít)
Ex : 15-minute break ( có dấu gạch nối và không có S)
III. Thể so sánh:
a) So sánh hơn (comparative):
* Tính từ ngắn:
Ex: – She is thinnerthanme. (I am)
– This box is biggerthan that one. (box)
* Tính từ dài:
Ex: – This student is more intelligentthan that one. (student)
* Tính từ đặc biệt:
– good → better : tốt hơn
– bad → worse : xấu hơn, kém hơn
– far → farther : xa hơn
b) So sánh nhất (superlative):
* Tính từ ngắn:
Ex: – She is the tallest girl in my class.
* Tính từ dài:
Ex: – This is the most beautiful village in the country.
* Tính từ đặc biệt:
– good / well → the best : tốt nhất, khoẻ nhất
– bad → the worst : xấu nhất, kém nhất
– far → the farthest / the furthest : xa nhất
IV.Các thì (tenses):
a) Thì hiện tại đơn (simple present tense):
b) Thì hiện tại tiếp diễn (present progressive tense):
c) Thì tương lai đơn (simple future tense):

VII. Gerund : Like, love, dislike, hate, enjoy …….. + V_ing.
VIII. Vị trí của trạng từ chỉ cấp độ thường Xuyên :
Always , usually, …………Trước động từ thường, sau động từ tobe.
IX. s sánh của danh từ :
Much/ many => more + N
Few => fewer + N(đếm được số nhiều)
Little => less + N( không đếm được)
