It would definitely be nothing other than my favorite pair of Levi’s denim jeans. I actually thrifted this gem at a local thrift store, within walking distance from my home, when I got my first paycheck about two years ago. It was quite a steal honestly, since it only cost 250K, while it must have originally retailed at nearly two million.

It’s a deep, grainy indigo pair of jeans with 5-pocket styling. However, just like any other Levi’s Jeans, what sets it apart from the jeans of other brands is the Arcuate design, which refers to the form of an arc, in the two back pockets.

I am obsessed with this piece of garment, partly because of the non-stretch fabric, which accounts for its durability. I’ve had it for two years now, and put it on practically every week, yet it still looks pretty much the same as the day I purchased it, even after many wearings and washings, with no holes or tears.
What makes me fall for it even more, would probably be its high-waist silhouette. My legs are a bit short, and my thighs are a bit big, so the fit like this would be flattering because their higher-than-usual waist naturally elongates my legs.

This Levi’s pair of jeans also tops the list when it comes to the outfit choices. I mean, it can go well with everything. I can either have a formal look with a button-down shirt tucked into the jeans and a blazer or keep it casual in a retro style by mixing it with any white T-shirt, creating a go-to ensemble whatever occasion it is. Although low-rise jeans are all the rage now with the resurgence of Y2k, I believe that mine would never go out of style.

1. Do you like buying clothes?
Well, I have mixed feelings when it comes to buying clothes. On the one hand, I enjoy the thrill of the hunt, and the feeling of trying on outfits. I like to experiment with different colors and patterns, and it can be satisfying to find a piece of clothing that fits me like a glove and makes me feel euphoric.

On the other hand, I’m also aware of the detrimental environmental impacts of the fast fashion industry. The constant production and consumption of cheap, disposable clothing has led to pollution all around the world.

Because of these concerns, I try to be mindful of my clothing purchases. I prioritize buying second-hand or sustainable clothing when possible, and I try to avoid buying clothing that I won’t wear frequently or that will quickly go out of style.
