Ngày hôm sau, Helen gặp người bạn và cô ấy nói : Sue and I have decided to have a party. We’re going to invite lots of people.Tôi và Sue đã quyết định tổ chức một buổi tiệc. Chúng tôi dự định sẽ mời nhiều người đến dự.
Qua ví dụ trên, ta thấy sử dụng “will” khi chúng ta quyết định làm việc gì đó ngay tại thời điểm nói. Người nói trước đó chưa quyết định làm điều đó. Buổi tiệc là một ý kiến mới. Còn chúng ta dùng (be) going to khi chúng ta đã quyết định làm điều gì đó rồi. Helen đã quyết định mời nhiều người trước khi nói với Dave.

Thanks to modern technology, there have been enormous changes in the workplace over the past 100 years.
